This is a really great book about one of my favourite places to go! Even while the main focus is on the one in Sydney, it also covers a lot more, such as the other Luna parks! I'd highly reccomend it to any Sydneysider out there.
I've been a fan of "Homestar Runner" for quite a while now. This was my second piece of merchandise from the series I ever got. It's pretty good! (At least for a fan of the web-series). When I was bored and looked this album up on Rate your music as a joke, one reviewer definitly put it best: "Want to drive your classical-music-only mom CRAZY?? This is the CD for you."
TMBG are a great band, and I'm lucky to have this really good, two-disc set. It compiles their first two albums, ("They might be giants" and "Lincoln") as well as including the B-Sides from the EPs, promoting the albums, but no, it doesn't stop there: It also includes never-before-heard bonus tracks! Some of which are REALLY good! (I'm looking at you, "Weep day".)
Again, they might be giants are awesome! And this was the first CD I ever bought! The album is full of great songs, and two of them are so good, even if you think you haven't listened to a TMBG song, before, you probably have listened to (their cover of) "Istanbul (not Constatinople)" or "Birdhouse in your soul"!
Wait, what, huh? You must be thinking of some other band... That isn't they might be giants... I think.
